David Cornwell founded PleaseTech (formerly Kcentrix Software) in 2002. A business visionary and veteran of the technology market, Dave’s entrepreneurial success has been chronicled by many business and technology publications. Dave has long been associated with founding and leading CDC Solutions, a UK headquartered company that he set up in 1994 and which became the acknowledged leader in the provision of document publishing solutions to the Life Sciences industries prior to its acquisition by Liquent, Inc (now part of the Thomson Group).
Prior to founding CDC Solutions, Dave worked for Kinesis Computing (which was subsequently acquired by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)) where he led a series of business development initiatives into the application of document and content management technologies. Dave is a regular contributor and speaker on the technology and business conference circuits both in the U.S and Europe.
As CEO of PleaseTech, Dave focuses on strategic planning and product direction as well as driving the company’s financial and technological successes. He sees a vast untapped market for collaborative document, content and communication development & review. He believes that PleaseTech is ideally positioned to capitalise on this opportunity.
Dave is a graduate of Imperial College, London where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with honours, in Engineering. He initially worked in the oil, gas and chemicals industry, and then earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Bath.
