PleaseTech announces 37%
revenue growth for 2011 and outlines plans for 2012
Malmesbury, UK. January 19th, 2012
PleaseTech Ltd, the software solutions company specializing in collaborative
document review and authoring software, has reported yet another successful and
profitable year with the signing of 21 new corporate clients and a 37% revenue
growth over the previous year.
Growth was secured through new client acquisition and existing client revenue.
Life Sciences accounted for 66% of sales whilst the Defense sector continues to
remain strong at 24%, with the remaining split across other industry sectors.
Encouragingly, existing client expenditure continues to grow, representing one
third of sales, as PleaseReview™ is used more extensively across customer
organizations.
Sales were achieved both directly and through PleaseTech’s partners. In addition
to its own partner program, PleaseTech participates as an active partner with
leading document management system vendors and is a certified Microsoft®
partner.
Key achievements for 2011 included the release of PleaseReview version 4.2,
delivering significant new functionality including the review of Microsoft
Excel; the introduction of a new PleaseReview package for consultancies and
major integration releases including Microsoft SharePoint® 2010/2007 and
OpenText ECM Suite. Additionally, PleaseReview won the accolade of Editor’s
Choice in the Document Manager’s Award standing out as a ‘truly innovative and
really well thought out-product’.
Plans for 2012 are ambitious with the planned announcement of a significant new
product at the end of this month, new re-sale partnerships and integrations with
leading document and enterprise content management systems, as well as continued
expansion of the PleaseTech team. Focus will remain on growing existing markets
and sectors, whilst also developing the UK market, seen currently as an untapped
resource.
David Cornwell, PleaseTech’s CEO, commented, “We are delighted with our 2011
results, especially in light of the continuing challenging economic environment.
I am particularly pleased with the new business from existing clients as it
shows that PleaseReview delivers the benefits it promises. With our plans for
2012, we aim to continue to build on our growth, develop our customer base and
explore new markets- we have a busy but exciting 12 months ahead of us”.
