Malmesbury, UK June 6th, 2008 PleaseTech Ltd (www.pleasetech.com), a software company specializing in collaborative document and content review, and The Velocity Group LLC (www.velocitygroup.biz), a professional service firm specializing in providing IT and compliance based delivery solutions across multiple market segments, today announced a partnership which enables The Velocity Group to deliver PleaseTech's PleaseReview as part of an integrated solution.
PleaseReview provides a secure, collaborative, browser-based environment to manage the document review and authoring process. It enables simultaneous authoring and review of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, PDFs and images. Users virtually discuss and collaborate on documents with each other, paragraph by paragraph, taking advantage of simple ‘point and click' review tools. Reviews may be synchronous or asynchronous. The document author or manager has full control of the review and can monitor the users' progress. All changes and comments are automatically saved in an audit trail.
The Velocity Group's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) practice group specializes in helping customers maximize their investment in ECM solutions to support processes from the discovery phase through post-market approval where management of all paper and electronic records and documents is critical to compliance. PleaseReview will extend each client's ECM suite by enabling users the ability to collaboratively author and review documents such as in the medical authoring and regulatory phases where document collaboration is profound.
The Velocity Group has become a reseller of PleaseTech's PleaseReview.
