PleaseTech announces the release of PleaseReview v4.2

PleaseReview v4.2 provides users with significant enhancements to their collaborative review and co-authoring experience by delivering substantial new functionality, improved usability and greater control over the review.

Malmesbury, UK. October 20th, 2011    PleaseTech Ltd, a specialist solutions provider for collaborative document review and co-authoring, has released version 4.2 of PleaseReview, providing customers access to a significant range of new features and functionality.

PleaseReview provides a secure, collaborative, browser-based environment for the controlled simultaneous review and co-authoring of Microsoft Word documents and the review of many other document types.

Many of the enhancements provided in v4.2 are a direct result of customer feedback and include the review of Microsoft Excel. Excel files can now be uploaded, reviewed and downloaded with all changes automatically incorporated - vastly simplifying the review experience as there is no need to manually apply the changes. PleaseReview already handles the review of Microsoft Word, PDF, PowerPoint, images and other document types.

The introduction of ReviewZones provides an additional level of control and flexibility over the review process. ReviewZones give the review owner the ability to specify whether review participants are able to review, view only or even not see different parts of the document.

The review of PDF documents has also been greatly enhanced, with reviewers now able to use native Adobe Acrobat mark-up capability and have these annotations captured, managed and reported on by PleaseReview. Additionally, the offline review of PDF files has been improved as comments and changes made offline can be automatically uploaded into the review within PleaseReview.

Other enhancements include an inline editing option, the availability of review templates, improved co-authoring capabilities, additional toolbars, and an optional cost enhancement making PleaseReview tablet friendly.

Dave Cornwell, PleaseTech’s CEO, stated “these enhancements and other changes to PleaseReview ensure that PleaseReview remains globally unique and continues to set the gold standard in document review. Our clients have ‘real world’ document review issues. We simply listen to them and solve their problems by making great software”.

PleaseReview allows multiple contributors to review and co-author the same copy of the document at the same time with complete control over ‘who can do what to where’. Control, reporting and metrics remain key distinguishing features. PleaseReview’s collaborative capabilities deliver an outstanding return on investment by ensuring the document review is accomplished quicker with fewer review cycles and significantly reducing the time taken in review meetings.
