Advanced redaction review just one new feature of latest PleaseReview release

4th April 2017, Malmesbury, UK – PleaseTech Ltd, an Ideagen Plc company, has released the latest version of its market leading collaborative review, co-authoring and redaction software, PleaseReview, v6.1.

Version 6.1 builds upon the success of PleaseReview v6, which was launched in November 2016. This saw a substantial re-design to the user interface, major changes to PDF and image review, and the introduction of redaction.

New enhancements introduced in v6.1 are a direct result of customer input and PleaseReview’s response to new market conditions, specifically within the Life Science sector.

Extended comment display functionality and additional toolbar action items on the user interface further improve usability and efficiency.

Putting PleaseReview firmly at the forefront of collaborative redaction review, proposed redactions can now be categorized based on specified requirements, including a pre-configured template making it easy for Life Science organizations to meet the redaction requirements of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) Policy 70 requirements.

Additionally, for documents that are complex, lengthy and or have multiple review participants, navigation has been improved. PDF annotations can be shown or hidden and users can search PDF text for a phrase, exact words or other criteria. Functionality has been introduced to allow PDF documents to be reviewed outside of PleaseReview, and the annotations then imported with the document when loaded into PleaseReview.

Finally, a new review workflow is available called ‘SubTeams’. A SubTeam is a group of reviewers who can see comments and proposed changes made by those within their SubTeam, but cannot see contributions made by participants outside their SubTeam. This allows groups of people to work independently from other groups for confidentiality or other reasons.

David Cornwell, Director of Technology at PleaseTech said, “There are over 200,000 PleaseReview users at the ‘coal face’ of document review. Listening to them and responding to the challenges they face in an ever-changing market has always been key to PleaseReview’s success.

“These latest enhancements continue to push PleaseReview ahead of the crowd, offering a truly unique document review, co-authoring and redaction solution.”
