PleaseReview's browser-based collaborative review environment has direct support for code review. This means that you can collaboratively review and author code modules, documents (such as specifications) and diagrams in the same structured and controlled environment. Full review management, comment categorization, review metrics and comprehensive reporting are included.

PleaseReview directly supports C, C++, C#, Java and ADA whilst any file type (for example, an XML configuration file or 'make' file) may be included as a plain text document.
The additional capabilities PleaseReview offers for code modules are:
- Syntax highlighting
- extraction of method names for a 'table of contents'
- support for different line endings
- any file type can be treated as plain text
(no syntax highlighting or method names toc) - optional split screen view allows the User to view two different places at once
- document closeout download will optionally automatically update code with accepted proposed changes and inserts PleaseReview comments as 'TODO' comments into the source file
