The problem: You are negotiating a contract with another organization. You have been emailing documents backwards and forwards with the occasional conference call. You and your opposite number are both busy people separated by 8 time zones and you are losing track of what has been agreed & why and what is outstanding. You haven't got time to track back through the email correspondence and various document iterations. Surely there is a better way.
The PleaseReview Solution: PleaseReview provides an interactive review portal where there is a single definitive copy of the document, displayed in the browser (no downloads and uploads) onto which comments can be made, changes proposed and typos noted.
A PleaseReview review can contain not only the document under negotiation but also, optionally, other relevant documents which may be identified as being for reference purposes only - in this case, perhaps a copy of agreed HOA or MOU.
Within the contract, specific clauses can have revisions proposed, edited, and discussed. Whilst comments and proposed changes are applied instantly so that PleaseReview can be used as a 'master copy' in a conference call, the comments and proposed changes also support 'discussion forum' type threads so that working with people in different time zones is straight forward.
Each participant can 'watch' the review or a specific paragraph for comments. Thus for example, you will know whether you opposite number has reviewed your last set of comments overnight. If you are reviewing multiple contracts with different parties, you can elect to receive a daily digest with the status of all your current reviews.
PleaseReview manages the review and agreement process automatically, provides up-to-date status information and, perhaps most importantly, a full reconciliation report showing a complete comments comment and revision history. Proposed revisions can be confirmed and automatically included in the final document.
PleaseReview directly supports the review of MS Word, PowerPoint, images and image collections. Other formats are supported at document level.
